I frequently use recycled materials in shipping.
This reduces shipping costs to myself and by extension to my customers and has the added benefit of ecological responsibility. I can promise you that your item will arrive with lots of padding and no damage in transport. I cannot promise that it will come inside beautiful packaging.

I will never sell a button if I suspect that it is not an authentic and original item.
I have collected buttons for many years and have a great love for this hobby and I dread nothing more than misrepresenting an item that I am selling. Over the past two years I've sold thousands of buttons on eBay (including a large part of my own collection) and am pleased to come across so many collectors, including younger generations, who are carrying on the appreciation of this important facet of American history. Though I am very careful to accurately describe the items I sell (and especially careful to weed out fakes) I am not infallible. I know of two occasions over the past two years that an inauthentic button mistakenly made its way into one of my auctions (a McKinley "gold bug" that was of later vintage and a Landon fantasy pin) and collectors who follow my auctions were kind enough to let me know so that I could remove them before they sold. There is nothing more valuable to the hobby than community. PLEASE should you ever come across one of my auctions that you believe to be either incorrectly described or, God forbid, of questionable authenticity, let me know at once so that I can end the auction. I am privileged and humbled to have so many seasoned collectors watching my auctions on a weekly basis, all with specific areas of expertise, and I am gratified by your willingness to share your knowledge in the interest of other collectors.
