    Description

This lot includes 5 Stoneware pieces made by Robinson Clay Products of Akron, Ohio. The growler pitcher is 8 5/8" tall and 8 1/2" from spout to handle. The mugs are 5 3/8" tall, all the pieces have wonderful embossed detail and have bent twig handles. The Provenance is from the Akron Public Library dated June 4,1959. It states that the pitcher is called a "Growler", sometimes used to bring beer from saloons.
The pieces have an embossed lady (possibly a Gibson girl) with the Flatiron Building in New York City because it contained the main offices of the Robinson Clay Products Co. at the time. The back stamp dates these pieces between 1902-1910. There is a tiny nick on the top rim of the pitcher otherwise the condition is excellent. The mugs look great, one is slightly lighter in color.  Don't miss this opportunity, these are items you don't see very often.
