    An incredible colonial American document written entirely in the hand of founding father Roger Sherman. Signed by the only man to sign all for important American documents, the articles of association, the declaration of independence, the articles of confederation, and the US Constitution. As a new justice of the peace in Litchfield Connecticut in August 1755, Roger Sherman wrote this opinion on counterfeiting bills of credit. Ephraim Wilcocks of New Hartford was accused of counterfeiting 6 5 pounds Rhode Island bills of credit. Details the testimony and eventual admission by the defendant. Signed prominently Roger Sherman justice of the peace. Minor losses and toning to the three creases with loss is affecting one word in the center of the last crease.  Includes crossed out notations by Sherman.
