    Description

18th Century Man's White Cotton Duck Trousers made by James (Jas) Townsend & Sons. These were made for someone tall and skinny, I mean, real pencil legs.  I tried ripping the seams and resewing to fit my legs to no avail, so I cannibalized the buttons for another project, so needs buttons.  A few stains from the previous owner, looks like coffee. But these trousers were meant for a common soldier, and common soldiers had many unusual stains. Otherwise good condition. 36" inseam, 48" outer seam from cuffs to top of the pants. Perfect for American Revolution War of Independence through Napoleonic re-enacting. Kept in smoke free pert free home.
