    Description

This is "new," very "old stock."  We purchased a huge lot of photo postcards from an estate of a man, who bought out a former early "General Store" decades ago.  These were for sale in that store way back in the early years of the 20th century (early 1900's).  The building is still standing.  Very interesting to us and, hopefully, to others as well.  Lots of history.  This auction is for 3 fold-open 1 cent postcards from way back of Golden Colorado ("First Capitol of Colorado"), Boulder, Colorado, and another titled, "Wonderful Cave of the Winds - Manitou, Colorado".  There are 11 pictures in the Cave of the Winds, 22 pictures in Boulder folder (includes Pearl Street in Boulder), and 22 in the Golden one (includes one of the Funicular Railroad).     None was ever mailed.  All are clean and in good condition.  You will be astounded by the cars in these pictures!  There are many buildings shown - would be interesting to explore and see if any of those early buildings are still around. Thanks for looking at my auction.
