    Nice Antique
    Vintage Torsion Balance Co. Large Oak Wooden Balance Scale
    Model 258
    This balance Scale is the counter top store model and was acquired at an old Mercantile store closing,
    They used it for the Pharmacy and as a Candy scale.
    This measuring 18.250" long, 8.75" wide and stands 7.750" tall, not counting the arms.
    The front plate reads

    Style 258
    No. B 79326
    Capacity: 4 1/2 KG
    It features a large wooden Oak body with adjusting the knobs on the sides to balance, two large balance pan holders,
    and weighs 18 lbs as shown but will ship FedEx Ground to save $
    Marked US on the bottom.
    Certified date on a sticker looks like 1902 for the State of Arizona
