From the New Oxford Item Newspaper on November 6, 1919, New Oxford, Pennsylvania:
"Adams republicans in Adams county succeeded in electing the majority of their candidates to office at spirited election. For sheriff John w. Hartman. A returned Soldier was elected Over George a. Kane."
Yellowed tone to the paper, some staining, creasing but not ripped.
Measures 3 7/8" × 2 5/16"
Penciled line and 2's on the reverse, these cards were reused as playing cards.
