    Description

    This is an 8 page "Official Program for Frances E. Willard Day, October 28, 1921."  It was prepared by J. A. Churchill, Superintendent of Public Instruction of Oregon in 1921.  It has a portrait of Miss Willard and a long "reading" providing a biography.  Students above fourth grade were to write an essay on "Alcohol and Crime, Alcohol and Effciency, Tobacco and Scholarship" or various elements of Miss Willard's life.  The pages are separate and each is about 9" by 6" with holes punched along the left side.  It has some age darkening and bent corners but is overall in good, legible condition.
