    Description

This auction consists of a vintage political souvenir item from circa 1930. I don't know if you would refer to it as a token; a coin; a medal; but it is some sort of a souvenir item handed out in support of:
"A.J. CERMAK FOR MAYOR -- Member Of Medinah Temple Lawndale Lodge No. 995 - Chicago Elks No. 4 - Odd Fellows No. 5"
; as shown on the item. Mr. Cermak won the election as the next mayor of Chicago, Illinois; and would later be assassinated while next to president elect Franklin D. Roosevelt. His killer was executed for his crime. This has
surface wear and blemishes; minor soiling/staining; nicks/dings/scratches; other blemishes and wear; etc.
