Lindbergh Baby Kidnapping Bruno Hauptmann “Trial of the Century” pass.
Extremely rare and fascinating artifact from what at the time was universally recognized as The Trail Of The Century.
I bought this pass to the Bruno Hauptmann Lindbergh Baby Kidnapping Trial Of The Century at Hakes American in their March 19, 2014 auction that included items from the estate of famous artist Maurice Sendak (Where The Wild Things Are) who was a very serious collector whose collection included the best collection of Lindbergh Baby Case materials ever assembled (at least I think that is the universal consensus!) An accompanying certificate from Hakes identifies it as the example from the Maurice Sendak Collection.
In 2014 I won this for 2. Two other old auction results of Lindbergh Baby Kidnapping passes I have found sold for much more (7 and 2 in 2006 and 2013, respectively).
