    VINTAGE FRAMED ETCHED BRASS DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE
    MANUFACTURED IN 1940 BY GRAMMES, INC. ALLENTOWN, PA
    This is a very unique piece and a rare find.  I did not attempt to clean.  I wanted to leave it in the condition in which I found it.  As stated, there is some discoloration on the brass and a couple of minor scratches.  Overall, I believe it is in good shape given the age.  However, I am most definitely not an expert.

    The color is most accurate in the first picture taken in the chair. The brass is very gold as captured in that photo.  The lighting/resolution in the other photos does not capture the true color as well.
