Any student of history knows the numerous roles played by Elliott Richardson in the Nixon administration. He is most famous for refusing to fire special prosecutor Archibald Cox in September 1973, and event which became known as the Saturday

I personally attended the 1972 Republican national convention in Miami Beach in August 1972. I was part
of the
group known as the
Y
o
u
n
g
V
o
t
e
r
s
f
o
r
t
h
e
President.
This wonderful convention souvenir was given to me and I have owned it for the past 46+ years. At the convention I met Mr. Richardson
and asked him
to sign this and he graciously complied. There is a minor smudge
,
but the signature is quite clear and Mr. Richardson‘s distinctive diet in the middle of the E is present. Any collector of historical memorabilia would love to own this in their collection. The book is in excellent condition and browsing through is like going back in time
With all of the advertisements, some from companies which are no longer in existence. The book obviously highlights president Nixon, but also features future presidents Gerald
Ford
and Ronald Reagan
.
It was difficult to price this treasure because of the dearth of signatures from Mr. Richardson for sale. I decided to go with my gut and
priced it
where I believe it belongs. I will certainly entertain reasonable offers. I am very proud of my 100% rating on eBay
