    "The private war of Private Henry Johnson took place in the Argonne Forest in 1918.  A member of the Harlem Regiment, Johnson was on watch when his outpost was attacked at night.  Bullets drove him to his hands and knees.  But still he came up fighting, leaving a trail of destruction half a mile long.  He earned the Croix de Guerre - one of France's highest honors.'
