  • Condition: These HPSC 120KW Dolphin Controllers were ordered originally to go into a School Bus application, however the project was scrapped before the units were mounted in the vehicle. They were placed in an inventory status until we acquired them a few years ago. These have never been powered up outside the manufacturing plant in Torrance CA. Being one of the Engineers at the plant and supporting the applications where these controllers were being integrated into the School Bus, I am familiar with these exact controllers and their history.

    This listing is for 2 (TWO) ***NEW*** 120KW Hughes Power Control Systems Dolphin Units. These 120KW Dolphins were intended for an electric school bus application that was cancelled and removed from the plans. They were put into inventory and have never been powered up outside the manufacturing plant in Torrance California. We acquired the units from the Metro Agency and they have been in our inventory for at least 3 to 4 years. We have a large inventory of Delco, GM, Hughes Power Control Systems equipment that was not part of the GM EV1 (IMPACT) program. Retired now, we have decided to find a new homes or applications for them. We have Electronic Diagrams (Component and System Level Schematics) for these Drives and will include copies with the sale.
    With the sale of these units we will include 1 (ONE) 90KW ***USED*** Dolphin which was removed from a working application when the route and vehicle was retired. That would be 3 Heavy Duty Dolphin units all priced together and priced to move! Last unused Dolphin Units available anywhere!
    We will deliver these units to the buyer within a 300 mile radius of Kingman, AZ free of charge. Otherwise they will need to be shipped freight at the cost of the buyer. Please contact us to arrange for the delivery.
