    Description

Offering a unique and esoteric Cold War booklet titled "A Primer on Communism - 200 Questions and Answers," by the U.S. Information Agency, Washington, D.C., in April 1956.  This primer on Communism contains more than 200 questions and answers on international Communism.  The questions were selected from some 1,300 questions actually posed by audiences in the Far East.  The booklet is a perfect snapshot of the thinking of the period, with the answers to the questions framed by anti-Communist ideology and Cold War fear.  The 60-year old covers show their aging, and are loose and would need to be re-taped, but all 106 pages are clean with no tears, marks or folds. Definitely a classic anti-Communist booklet produced by the U.S. Government at the height of the Cold War.  A nice addition to any Cold War collection or library.
