    ANTIQUE CABINET CARD PHOTOGRAPH OF A WOMAN AND A DOG.
    The dog is not a trick dog per se, but then again he or she certainly is. Look at how the dog is standing on a precarious perch. The woman has obviously lifted him or her up, and oversees the operation, but the dog is staying up of its own volition. Not nervous at all.
    DATE. Circa 1890s.
    SIZE. Approximately 6 1/2 x 4 1/4 inches.
    CONDITION. Photo: Missing small piece at top edge. Lots of scratches and scuff marks, which are more apparent when tilted. A few tiny spots. Some soiling. A bit of wear at lower left corner. Mount: Wear at corners, including chipped away surface layer at upper left. Soiling, front and back.
    APPEARANCE. Good tones. Good details. Great poses! A wonderful photograph.
