    Description

Racist flyer from the "National Citizens Protective Association" targets the maker of Marlboro, Parliament, and Philip Morris cigarettes for supporting the "viciously anti-white" NAACP.  The flyer attacks Philip Morris for sponsoring the Travelguide magazine, which helped Black Americans to find accommodations where they were welcome, and reproduces an article from Travelguide on how many of the Southern NAACP presidents are no longer in the guide because of the danger of increased violence. About 6" x 6", 4 pages, newsprint. From the estate of a noted segregationist politician.
Very good condition. Mild tanning. Slight bend in the middle as shown.
An important piece of civil rights history and a substantial addition to any collection. Displays really well.
