Antique American Apothecary or Pharmacists Glass Cased Scale. Circa 1930's -1950's
Metal and glass cased scales complete with trays. Has heavy black slate base.
Counterpoised, easy sliding front door for easy access. (Door stays open with weights on strings hidden in the front columns.)
Original green paint and glass. Appears all complete.
Marked Seederer - Kohlbusch Inc., Englewood, New Jersey, SEKO brand.
The firm of Seederer-Kohlbusch, Inc. (at various times with offices in Jersey City, New Jersey, New Rochelle, New York and New York, New York ) is listed as being incorporated in 1908.

Condition: Appears all complete and works correctly. Some paint loss to case here and there from use. Some light external corrosion on unpainted case parts that would clean easily.  Brass internals have a nice patina, but would brighten up well with a little polish if desired. Glass intact.
A nice looking antique functional scale that displays well. Unsure of actual model # or specific date of production.
