    Description

    Here is a Henry Troemner Apothecary Balance.  It is characterized as Class "A" on the plate's No. area and in the Capacity area, 4 oz and 120 gr stated. It is in very good condition and levels out accurately and balances equally with samples. It has a beam with Grain and Gram graduations. Looking at it youll see on the right hand side a port with a cover that pivots open. Additionally, A rod 's handle protudes for control of the rider. Not a problem with performance there. The control handle on the front locks the balance but does not hold the locked state. The glass table which covers all of the works save for the pans. It is a black translucent 1/4" with a transparent area over the works. This has some wear with some minor issues around the fastening screws. The forward corners of the table has a higher degree of chipping. The finish is handsome with the only flaw being some water marks on the fronts right hand side. I suspect it is correctible. That and the possible locking issue are the only real issues. My layman's pronouncement is that it appears to be operationally able. Please review the photos and reach out with any questions. Thanks.
