Antique Penna & New York City Apothecary Scale with Marble Top

This auction is for an antique Penna & New York City apothecary scale. Missing top cover. This scale is complete with marble top in good condition. Slight chips on corners and edges. No cracks in marble. Marble top is secured on a footed wooden case, as seen in photos. Wooden case is in very good condition. No damage. Appears to be original finish. Scale is in working condition. Brass knob in front turns to right to weigh items, and turns to left to disengage scale. It has two adjustable brass legs to level scale. They are in good working condition. Scale has brass level secured on top with celluloid marker. Has nickel plated removable trays. Overall condition is very good antique condition throughout. Don't know if scale is totally accurate when weighing. may have to do a little oiling or fine tuning. Scale measures approx. 13.5" long x 6.75" deep x 6" high.
