Antique Rare 1614 Indenture Military Document On Parchment Paper.
The document is 31 x 20 inches. I don’t know a whole lot about this indenture document. I know that it is a contract between a soldier, and a military for his service. I could never read the whole thing. I bought this at a local flea market years ago. I do know that it is authentic. It is in good condition for the age. I did not come across another Indenture this old. The frame is not included. My father believed that the ma that received this document was African American, but I cannot say that as a fact. I could never make out enough of it to confirm that. It does talk about England.
