Oak Personal Weighing Machine by W. & T. Avery Ltd., Birmingham, side mounted circular pan, hinged weight shelf, telescoping height rod and carpeted platform, the base with storage compartment, ht. 54 in.
Inventory or museum deaccession number on the bottom.
DATE
: Late 1800's to early 1900's
CONDITION
: Please review photos for the best idea of condition. Missing Scale Pan and small rod at top, pull knob to the height adjust, and weights. Age splits to wood. Some Chips to wood at base on right rear side. Scale does appear to be intact otherwise.
MEASUREMENTS
: Overall 54" tall. weighs 42 pounds before being packed
