I am the sole distributor of Atlasnova Green Laser Pointer with APC Class IIIa All Black.
The Atlasnova Green Laser Pointer with Feedback (GLPF) has a negative feedback circuit called APC which means Automatic Power Control. This ensures that the output power will not exceed 5mW for Class IIIa, this makes them more suitable for indoor use. Made in Taiwan.

The Atllasnova Green Laser Pointer with APC a has a small green LED placed just above the ON button to show when the pointer is radiating. All metal construction in a metal gift box. It comes in a very attractive totally black finish to which Atlasnova has the exclusive rights.
Items are brand new and fully checked out before shipping. Not a toy - not for children.
A glass collimating lens causes the "dot" to be sharply defined.
You need to start with a unit that has a nominal output of say 10-15mW and incorporate a sensor after the MCA and send a voltage back to the driver circuit that will establish a "setpoint" that represents a certain output level. The driver circuit then adjusts the current to the pump diode to achieve that level. This is in addition to the photodiode that is in the pump diode assembly itself which is used to keep the pump diode from going crazy (chaotic non-linier device that it is). An additional benefit feedback with headroom has is that the device is no longer subject to the "cool-down" rule and may be kept on continuously.

I have been answering a lot of questions brought about by the titles and descriptions contained in the ebay listings for green laser pointers. I am going to try to answer some of them here:
"Is yours DPSS?"
They are all DPSS - Diode Pumped Solid State - This refers to the method of generation of the laser light and is, to my knowledge, the only way to make a green laser pointer.
"Does it have a range of "up to" 2 miles - 15000 feet - shine on clouds - etc. etc -???"
How far the dot will be visible depends on how much ambient light is present and the quality of the lens keeping the dot size small to concentrate as much optical power as possible on the target. The Leadlight Pointers have a very high quality glass lens.
