    Description

This is a nice, original Wisconsin Anti-Saloon League pamphlet by J.S. Baker of Evansville, Wisconsin. Mr. Baker presents the argument that saloons and drinking culture injure businesses and corrupt the community. He presents this submission in a series of letters and statistics that draw the following conclusions:
    1) Saloons increase taxes
    2) Saloons are the largest reason of lost workdays
    3) Drinking men are unreliable
    4) Graduation rates are higher in cities that are dry
    5) Drinking brings misery, crime, and a burden on the community
    Measures 6" x 9 1/2" and contains 4 pages.
There is some wear, pamphlet has two horizontal folds, a few small tears along edges. Text sharp and legible.
