Cabinet Card Album ~ the Park & Old Family of Denver Colorado with Photos

Description

Vintage leather Cabinet Card Album of the Old & Park family of Denver, CO. The album itself has a torn off section on the top spine area. Additionally, half of the clasp has separated from the album but is still there. The inside of the album is in extremely nice condition with solid thick pages with every other page having depicting Heroines of  Shakspere along with a verse. Many of the pages have been protected by onion skin paper. There are a total of 10 photos. Nine are cabinet photos and one is a portrait type photo of "Betty".  Some of the cabinet cards have been identified. A card in fantastic condition is a photo of an older gentleman with a great beard and identified as, R.O. OLD, born Oct 28/29, died April 16, 1897. A ladies photo with the following written on the back, For George Old, taken Feb 12th, 1888. A photo of 5 sisters? are identified as 1. Carrie Lell Old, 2. Jessie McArthur, 3. Mamie Weiser (sp), 4. Clara Morganthan, 5. Adelaide Olsch (sp), and dated Oct 21st, 1890. Another photo shows an older gentleman and is identified as a  Samual (sp) Orchard, dated May 8th, 1879, "your great uncle, your fathers uncle", and finally a photo of a young boy identified as George Old.
