    Offered is a cabinet photograph of what appears to be a military encampment on the Presidio in San Francisco by J D Givens. Numerous rows of tents are lined up on the small peninsula. Wood buildings are on both sides of the tents. There is also a paddle wheeler ready to dock. You can barely see people on the dock waiting for the ship.
