What your are bidding on is a very rare artifact of what history refers to as the " backlash movement" of the 1964 political campaigns against President Lyndon Johnson.
The verso of the card helps us possibly identify the origins of the owner of the card and where it was obtained. The verso, with script written in lead pencil, worn but is easily readable, & simply says " AC-64" over JBS (5?) We believe because of the provenance of this item, the AC stands for Atlantic City, and 64 is the year, and JBS likely stands for John Birch Society. Although as you can see, it may also say JB5.
The provenance is known to have come from the estate of TE Craddock of Texas. A well known political power brokers and leader in Texas politics and the Rural Electric Movement. It should be made very clear, that this card being part of the Craddock estate belies history in that he was a major ally of Johnson, and there should be no assumption that Craddock subscribed to the sentiments of this card.
We believe this is an important piece of history and worthy of collection for those in the areas of politics, social change, Black Americana, or general
ephemera.

Condition: minor age stains. Clear un-faded printing, no tears, rips, or repairs.
