    Description

    Reproduction of the 1767  French Officer's Small Sword.  There are numerous variations of this once common officer's personal weapon but this an example of one adopted as standard for French Officers. The blade has a triangular profile for greater strength while having a slim blade. Blade is 31 inches long, total sword length is 36 inches. Grip is braided bronze wire wrapped leather.  Sheath is tanned leather over wood with yellow brass furniture.  Period correct for Colonial and French Revolutionary Officers.
