    Guaranteed original and authentic 1874 receipt for bolts & nails from William D. Ball (Hardware dealer, Ludlow, VT)  to John Calvin Coolidge Sr. (father of Calvin Coolidge, 30th President). John C. Coolidge Sr. was a store merchant in Plymouth VT. This receipt is not signed by John Sr. but William Ball. Measures  7"  X  8 1/2" . .This came from a large cache of receipts & Coolidge ephemera of a Connecticut collector. No stains, tears or repairs. Examine my pictures.
