    Description

    This is Volume I of a 2 volume matched set containing the complete history of the Henderson Motorcycle. It is written by Richard Schultz, the noted authority on Hendersons.  Volume I is 219 pages covering 1911 through 1931. The Table of Contents: Chapter I: The Two Ends, Chapter II: Forming the Henderson Company, Chapter III: The New Henderson Motorcycle, Chapter IV: The 1913 Henderson, Chapter V: The 1914 Henderson, Chapter VI: The 1915 Henderson, Chapter VII: The 1916 Henderson, Chapter VIII: The 1917 Henderson, Chapter IX: A New Home for the Hendersons, Chapter X: The Last Hendersons. Appendix: Original Henderson and Schwinn Documents. Volume I is leather bound and comes with an attractive dust cover and is signed by Rich.
    You may also be interested in Volume II that is offered together with Volume I or separately in my other auctions. Volume II (not included in this auction) is matched to Volume I and contains supplemental material for Hendersons from 1918 - 1931 not found in the original volume. The sections include: Henderson 1918-1931, Servicing Information and Technical Details, Experimental and Custom Hendersons, 4-Cylindar Motorcycles, Henderson Memorabilia and Ontario Provincial Police Henderson. Volume II also contains a forward by Jay Leno: "...this is a well-thought out, scholarly approach to a little known piece of motorcycle history..." These are the few remaining of this second and final publishing. There will be no more.
    The sales price includes only Volume I. It is a new, unused volume that is shipped without shipping cost in a sturdy, secure box. No returns.
