The musical opened in NYC on 12/03/53 and ran for 583 performances.  The program contains production photos, costumed photos, bios and list of awards.  The cast includes Earle MacVeigh, Marthe Errolle, Margot Moser, Donald Clarke, Ethel Martin, George Martin, James Eiler, Bruce MacKay, Robert Goss, Lucy Andonian, Jack Miller, Rosemarry Fuhrmann, Alex Alexander, Pua Gaheton, Anita Berman and Judi Royce.  Music by Alexander Borodin, musical adaptation and lyrics by Robert Wright and George Forrest and book by Charles Lederer and Luther Davis (based on the play by Edward Knoblock).  Directed by Albert Marre and choreographed by Jack Cole.  Cover art by Al Hirschfeld.

Condition is near mint.

CONDITION:
I use a six-step condition scale to describe the overall paper quality:  Mint, Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair, Poor.  Good means just that:  desireable for a collection with no immediate need to upgrade.  Excellent and Mint are usually reserved for publisher and music store remainders.  Expect Good-minus and Fair to have considerable wear.  All specific condition faults are noted after the general condition.
