Late 1700 Early 1800 Tin Apothecary 1dl (Deciliter) Measure Cup!
The apothecaries system (of weights and measures) is one of the oldest systems of measurement and has been used by physicians and apothecaries for medical recipes since Roman time. A metric measurement of volume, 1 deciliter is equivalent to 10 centiliters or 0.1 liter.
The measure is approximately 2" in diameter x 2 5/8" tall. It has two verification stamps applied above the etched measurement indication.
