Lawrence county ala 1950 Governor , Senate and other local reps, of interest is Bull Conner, the guy who authorized the hosing and dogs on children 1963, Lister Hill who served many years  And Gordon Persons who won the Governorship, my grandfather L W Sanderson who won the board of education. this was to be posted I guess at the polling place I found it a box of old documents of my grandparents. It's a cool piece of history as the results are written ( how many votes) and signed by inspectors.
