Instructions
Install Studs into Block hand tight
Always use new Head gaskets & Dowels Install cylinder heads
Install Washers
Lubricate exposed portion of threads and top side of washers with Supplied ARP Lube.
FAILURE TO LIBERALLY APPLY ARP MOLY LUBE TO THE THREADS CAN CAUSE INCORRET TORQUE VALUE READINGS AND CAN CAUSE STUD FAILURE - MAKE SURE THE THREADS ARE WELL COATED!!
Starting from Middle Working toward outside
Torque in the following Steps (never use a impact wrench):
Step 1 40 Ft lbs
Step 2 65 Ft lbs
Step 3 85 Ft lbs (Final Torque Value)
NEVER USE A IMPACT GUN TO INTALL STUDS OR TO REMOVE OR TIGHTEN NUTS. DO NOT USE FACTORY "TORQUE ANGLE" SPECS
