Political Plush Reversible Elephant/Donkey: 2008 Memorabilia/Excellent Condition

Embroidered with the date November 4, 2008, this discontinued political plush toy is just the thing for those who still can't decide which way they're going to vote. Turn it to the elephant side and spread the word "make up your mind, don't fall behind," (embroidered on chest) OR switch over to the donkey side to announce "vote or lose your voice" (also embroidered on chest). The slightly angled messages seem to be deliberately placed in line with the border.
This duo is a whimsical pairing - and they'll
both get along together as long as they don't have to face each other. Once you know which way you're going to swing, tuck one inside the other; you'll have a terrific collectible either way. They even sit up!
Red, white and blue stars-and-stripes plush fuzzy fabric is in exceptional shape with no fading, and there are no stains or rips in any seam. The elephant's tusks are vinyl and both animals' eyes are plastic. Embroidery also states Political Plushcom (apparently no longer in business)on four legs, and the tag states Fuzzy Flipz in Peoria, AZ (also, no longer in business). The item is made in China.
One day this patriotic plush toy will be classified as vintage, but for now, you can be wishy-washy or proclaim your allegiance as a righty or a lefty in the political arena. A fine novelty piece that has been discontinued, this reversible donkey/elephant duo is rare if not impossible to find.
