    Original vintage photograph of President Franklin Delano Roosevelt aboard the USS Houston in Panama, circa 1935
    Also present in the photo are the Republic of Panama President Arias, Major General Fiske (Commanding General, Panama Canal Department 1933-35) and Major General Lytle Brown (Commanding General, Panama Canal Department 1935-36)
    This photograph was acquired from the estate of a former army photographer, who had mounted the photo on top of a Signal Corps picture of 'Flag at Ft Sheridan' (see photo 3). He also wrote the notations on the mounting below the FDR photograph
    The photo measures 8" x 10"
