RARE CABINET CARD PHOTO - BOY WITH BLOODHOUND BOY & BITCH - ON AMAZING LEASH - IDENTIFIED ON BACK OF MOUNT -Here is a truly awesome cabinet photo of a young boy with his two Bloodhounds. The notations on the backside of the card identify this pair of canines as BOY PUP, Sire Burgh's from Rosemary and the BITCH PUP, Sire Remier from Dutchess of Ripple and dated 1884. If you happen to be a breeder of Bloodhounds today, you may even be able to link one or both of this fine Bloodhound lines to your own pedigree pooch. The boy holds a very cool antique metal leash that is meant for walking two dogs together. I doubt the young lad had the strength to control this two puppies when they were on the scent...ha! What I do know, is this is a special canine related cabinet card in very nice condition for your personal collection, should you be the lucky winner of this auction. Good luck!
CONDITION:
Please view my detailed photos for the actual condition of the image and as part of my description.
The cabinet photo has good contrast and excellent sharpness. The mount itself is in excellent condition. The print has normal fading associated with age, but still presents these two dogs and the child beautifully.
Please read the period notations written on the backside of the mount . A great pair of pedigree puppies for your own personal collection of canine images.
