    Offered for your consideration is this Fascinating Rare Print of George Washington riding a Dark Horse in the 1778 Battle of Monmouth on the Poudre River. Usually you see pictures of George Washington riding his white horse, but at this particular event in history, it is known that George Washington was quite the horseman, except for the fact that he let his own horse die of the heat at this Battle of Monmouth in 1778. We did not remove this print from the frame to clean & this is exactly how it came into our possession. Print measures approx.. 9-7/8” wide x 7-1/8” high & the original frame with glass measures about 11-1/2” wide x 8-5/8” high.
