Description
vintage cabinet photograph from the early 1920s --- wonderful occupational image inside a Shoemaker and repair or Cobbler's Workshop with several gentlemen in the photo, as well as a nice Singer Industrial Sewing Machine and two other large Shoemaking/finishing machines -- on the back wall are a multitude of small work 'suggestion' posters as well as several ultra rare early 1920s Essex Rubber 'Tite-Edge' Rubber Heels Calendars with artwork quite likely by Haskell Coffin, featuring his beautiful '20s girls-- the end of the work bench is made of likely an old business sign and there are a number of shoe 'works in progress' on the top -- do not know where this was located but was found in an old house estate here in Corvallis so is quite possibly from here (Corvallis, Oregon) -- the image measures 5 by 7 in. / the backing card is 6 by 9 in. --
