  • Condition: This is an original one sheet folded movie poster 27" x 41". It is in excellent condition as it was displayed at the Alpine Movie Theatre in Romney, WV. It has pin holes in each corner for advertising in the lobby. There is no wear at the folds, no tape, no tears, no stains, no pet odors, and no smoke odors. There is a pin hole next to the pearls and hardly noticeable. I would consider it a C9 or higher. All of my posters are in great condition as my father-in-law was very proud of his theatre and considered these posters valuable assets. The posters were stored since the 1970's and never to be disturbed until I decided to sell/share them.

    Description

    THE GREAT GATSBY starring Robert Redford and Mia Farrow was shown in 1972 at the Alpine Movie Theatre, Romney, West Virginia.
    Nick Carraway (played by Sam Waterson), a young mid-westener, now living on Long Island, finds himself fascinated by the mysterious past and lavish lifestyle of his neighbor, the  nouveau riche Jay Gatsby.  He is drawn into Gatsby's circle, becoming a witness to obsession and tragedy. This movie was filmed in Newport, Rhode Island.
    All of my posters are in great condition as my father-in-law (see the picture of him checking his projector) was very proud of his theatre and considered these posters valuable assets.  The posters were stored since the 1970's and never to be disturbed until I decided to sell/share them.
