ALTHOUGH there are NO CHIPS< CRACKS OR CRAZING we eventually detected the faintest few scratches seen when you scutinize under just the right light conditions and tilt the plates a ceratin way. NO POSSIBLE WAY the camera will ever pick-up these faint and hard-to-see as they are.

READ EVERYTHING ABOVE, Price was reduced to . THIS IS RARE! The designs on these 4 plates are from The Bewick's Beasts, the 18th Century Wood Engravings by Thomas Bewick. Each plate depicts a different animal including Elephant, Tiger, Zebra, and the Ibex. It is made by Fitz and Floyd. The approximate dimension is 9 1/8" in diameter. It is embellished with gold gilding around a wide rim. This makes these plates unsuitable for dishwasher or microwave use. FYI metallic finish should not be washed with lemon or any citrus based product. Our research hasn't found any other similar plates from this maker; so we believe they are somewhat rare. Thank you.
