    Description

    Vintage JOHN CLAPPISON HENS & CHICK MUG Green HORNSEA Pottery England RARE 1970s.
    This is a very nice HENS and Chick mug from the 70s.  There are a few areas of interest for this mug.  Near the handle there is a small surface crack. Please see the last picture for details.
    The inside of the mug does have some crazing but is still smooth.
    Above the chick is a small dimple in the glaze that is original and not a chip.
    Overall an excellent condition mug of this style, nice as a display piece or to use.
    Measures 3.5" tall and 3" wide at the mouth.
